I thought Blind Cavefish where fin nippers. I would suggest adding a Plec like a Royal Plec, they eat algae all their life and are very pretty.

Nah, my blind cave tetra is not a fin nipper, rather fin nipped sometimes by other fishes. I'm having an algae problem, but I think a pleco will do more harm than good since it might destroy some plants that I have. I am currently using a Chinese Algae Eater but I might switch to otos.

Mate I've got 2 sailfin pleco's in my tank and they don't touch the plants. The only ones that do damage my plants are my bristle noses and that is inadvertantly by getting the algae off the leaves. In my tank I've got anubia's, amazon swords, java fern and java moss. Even the silver dollars don't touch the plants due to the supply of nocky and lettuce. Hope this helps. Cheers, Bryce.

I've had bad experiences with plecos who ate my Amazon swords and other not so tough plants. I've seen albino plecos, totally white, unlike the normal yellow ones, this one is snow white and I'm considering getting one. I've seen leopard, albino, bronze and panda cories in my LFS, I'm still deciding which one.

Why is that? I plan to add cories, any suggestions on what other fishes to add? Swortails come from the rocky alkaline rivers with much harder water than something like angels and rams which do much better in soft acidic.

Awesome! I just got 2 angel's and they are wonderful fish. I'm ion the mist of locating some BGK, they are considered rare in my area.
