Hi guys,
I just picked up a real handy piece of kit from my local electronics shop.
If like me you can't afford a dusk till dawn lighting system or have no soldering ability you might want to get a cold cathode lamp.
These small light tubes are less than a centimeter thick and about 8" long. They're mainly used in custom pc's and by boy racers to give a neon glow inside engines and pc cases. They give off next to no heat, come pre sealed and fit easily inside most hoods or can be fixed to the tank above the water level. If you run them at 6v they make a really good cheap night light. My set-up only cost me £16 sterling.
They come in red blue green and amber and make ideal conditions to view your ghosts at night. Definitely worth a look.
