I decided not to put a BGK in 46g oscar tank. I went with an african brown knife instead. but now I'd like to do a BGK tank. I was looking at glasscages.com and they have a 75g long tank that is 72Lx18Wx13H. Would this be good. Is the 13" for height not enough.
I guess what it boils down to is: do BGKs need a lot of horizontal swimming space or vertical space? I figured this tank would give him lots of room to swim back and forth. but it seems they dont need much up and down room. or am i wrong? please advise!

Ok, they grow upto 22 inches long
Your tank height is 13 inches and W is 18 inches.
The only problem I see is that ghost tail would be touching the floor/gravel.
Width looks ok to me
Whatever you go with, let us know. Its not a bad idea to get a 75 long.
